Data Entry & Support Coordinator

Working primarily in SAP and MS Excel, the Data Entry Coordinator is responsible for supporting the department by performing a variety of duties including the maintenance of department reports. Other responsibilities include inputting orders into SAP using methods and standards defined by the Company. This position plays a role in streamlining, organizing, formatting, inputting and communicating orders.

  • Run daily reports such as CSV, open Purchase Orders (PO) and late Inbound Delivery (IBD)

  • Create and file General Certificate of Conformity for incoming shipments

  • Run Air Needs reports and submit to Allocation Analyst for review

  • Update Purchase Orders for split lines for air needs or multiple shipments and for updates regarding FOB, Duty, exit and/or ETA Date, quantity, etc.

  • Rerun SAP reports (ME2M) after splits for contractors

  • Review invoices for FOB’s, surcharges, HTS codes, quantities

  • Convert Purchase Requisitions to PO’s

  • Create Inbound Delivery detailing incoming shipments

  • Maintain Freight Costing excel file

  • Review Sales Confirmations for styles, quantities, costs, exit dates, ship destinations, etc.

  • Print and file Proof of Payment emails

  • Coordinate the biannual start of season cleanup process with regard to purchasing group, storage location, terms, surcharges, etc.

  • Coordinate the biannual end of season cleanup process that involves running reports, closing out purchase orders, etc

  • Regularly communicate updates with Procurement and Distribution Center team members

  • General filing

  • Support for Bedding license compliance 


  • 1-3 years of experience in a role with responsibility for data entry, problem solving, customer interface and meeting requirements of import/export rules and documentation preferred

  • Experience in SAP preferred

  • Must have excellent color sense

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required

  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals

  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and coworkers
