Digital Product Manager - Manduka

The Digital Product Manager (or DPM) at Manduka is responsible for the execution of our digital product roadmap, feature definition, and project management of B2C, B2B, and other digital projects. The role involves working with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, finance, operations, customer care and wholesale. A DPM analyzes the market and competitive environment to help define a differentiated product vision that delivers unique value. Their main responsibilities will be to provide analysis on a variety of key business initiatives, partner with digital marketing to develop growth plans, identify criteria for success, develop epic and stories for design and development, and ultimately drive the launch of new products and features on Manduka’s Websites and Applications. 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute short-term and long-term product roadmaps for assigned web site(s), and manage discussions with key stakeholders to prioritize and analyze execution plans
  • Analyze data from various parts of the business to identify trends and opportunities
  • Use hard data and metrics to prioritize, develop project goals and define success metrics for your features
  • Create stories for development of new features and maintain plan for ongoing product improvements
  • Manage development projects for assigned web site(s) and applications from requirements to launch
  • Partner with digital marketing and design to monitor and optimize key performance metrics, and launch A/B, usability and other tests
  • Manage cross-functional coordination to ensure that business requirements are being met and projects are completed on time, and with all appropriate approvals
  • Monitor user feedback and validate/document bugs and site issues
  • Conduct competitive research
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

KPI’s for measuring success: 

  • Achievement of the company’s revenue and profit targets
  • Successful launch of site features, improvements, and projects (On Time / On Budget)
  • Increase site conversion and overall experience
  • Decrease in on-site customer issues

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Product Management preferably for an online retail web site
  • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Solid understanding of web development and ecommerce environments. Magento experience a plus.
  • Experience working with engineering and creative staff in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with offshore and multi-location coordination is a big plus
  • Proficient with wire framing and prototyping tools
  • Experience with JIRA, Asana or other productivity tools
  • Agile experience a big plus
  • Must be hands-on, entrepreneurial and create systems and process
  • Must thrive in an environment that is results / data driven.
  • Must be a solid communicator, able to work across cultures and able to clearly express thoughts in writing and verbally
