Independent Sales Rep


Camp David, founded in 1993, takes retail inspiration to the next level in both its garments and custom designed graphics. Marketing to Resort establishments and the licensed College Bookstore market, Camp David has built a reputation for innovative graphic presentation through multi-process applications involving a combination of embroidery, screen print, and appliqué to present a contemporary retail look.


Located in downtown Overland Park, Kansas, we have immediate openings for energetic independent sales reps in select territories. We have a generous commission structure selling the Camp David brand, which features men’s and women’s fleece, t-shirts, and headwear.      


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Develop and grow the Camp David business in a geographic territory, focused on the resort or collegiate markets
  • Strengthen relationships with established customers while continuously identifying and nurturing potential new customers
  • Create and execute compelling presentations to customers that demonstrate solid business acumen and a strong understanding of product assortment and marketing programs
  • Plan and implement strategies to identify and create new business and/or new customer opportunities 
  • Strong working knowledge of retail and merchandising
  • Financial ability to travel for territory sales contacts and sales meetings


 Qualifications include:


  • Passion for the customer, fashion, and developing new customers
  • Self-starter with positive and energetic attitude
  • Strong communication skills, ability to deliver persuasive presentations, as well as the ability to create strong, lasting relationships
  • Minimum 3 years of related Industry Sales experience
  • Complimentary (not competitive) product lines in your portfolio are acceptable
  • Working knowledge of the territory marketplaces for national, regional, and independent account base
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic, growing business
