We are looking for a highly motivated and hands on Marketing Manager reporting to the General Manager USA . This individual will develop and execute the US marketing plan, contributing to the achievement of volume, profit and brand objectives.
Important to have existing contacts within the US Trail Running community and a strong digital / social media skillset.
Important to note that this is very much a hands on role, you'll be responsible for execution of all activities.
Key deliverables for this role:
- Develop an excellent understanding of the inov-8 athlete and customer base.
- Develop and control yearly marketing plan & budget
- Provide effective implementation and execution of plan
- Provide market based input in to the global marketing and product briefings
- Insure relevant Go to Market plans and tools are in place
- Recommend and execute full communication plan inclusive of Events, Athletes, PR, and all relevant media
- 3-5 years marketing experience. Ideally Sport/retail with apparel/footwear in a functional brand
- Absolute passion for trail running – out there running. In the community
- Connected to the Trail community
- Entrepreneurial – able to do PR, link with events and athletes and maximise exposure
- Ability to write copy
- Digitally savvy
- Good feel for the product
- Strong communicator and team player
- Positive – great attitude. Attitude to learn and develop
