VIBRAM Finished Goods - Independent Sales Agent - NEW ENGLAND

 The Vibram Finished Goods business unit has an immediate opening for a Sales Agency in the New England territory of the USA (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT).



Appropriate candidates/agencies will have the experience, knowledge, staff and infrastructure to manage a footwear and accessories business unit with diverse distribution including Run Specialty, Sports Specialty, Outdoor Specialty, National Chains, Boutiques, E-commerce and Catalog accounts.  The appropriate agency will effectively pursue and grow all of these channels with direction from Vibram's Americas Sales & Distribution Director.



Compensation package is 100% commission based, with competetive rates.



The Vibram Finished Goods BU includes Vibram FiveFingers, Vibram Furoshiki, and other future rubber innovations.  This is not directly associated with the Vibram Soling business unit, but there is a need to understand that business as part of this role.



Strategically sells and services all accounts and prospects within the boundaries of the assigned territory to increase total volume and overall distribution of product.




Develops new accounts and builds new relationships with retailers in the specified territory.



Provides sales support and service for existing retail accounts within the territory to encourage adequate sell through.



Represents the product line and supports the brands' corporate staff at various footwear shows. 



Strong understanding of the different components and applications of footwear manufacturing processes and technologies.



Performs other duties as required/assigned by Sales Director.



2-5 years of footwear sales experience preferred but negotiable.  Experience with performance apparel and/or accessories may be acceptable. 



Ability to travel extensively throughout the designated territory. 



Strong verbal and written communication skills.



Ability to attend out of state trade shows and sales meetings. 



Excellent retail math skills.
