Wear Test Analyst

 

General Purpose:   

 

The Wear Test Analyst is responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining each wear test program.  You will also be responsible for analyzing and presenting all the data findings from each test.  As the Wear Test Analyst, you will work closely with the product design and development teams to ensure the quality of the prototypes is at the highest standard in regards to performance and functionality.  

 

 

 

Job Qualifications:  

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Some experience with statistical analysis preferred and experience presenting that data
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of cycling apparel is necessary
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office applications required.  Knowledge of Survey Gizmo and CSS coding.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Create, implement and maintain the wear test program.
  • Track samples, testers and create documentation each wear test.
  • Maintain Wear Tester profiles, including current activity levels; NDA expiration date; test history; injuries; pregnancy; moving; response rate.
  • Create and track surveys on Survey Gizmo, including monitoring results to ensure greatest response rate.  This may require multiple requests to the wear testers.  Note slow or no responses on wear tester profile.
  • Archive and distribute Survey Gizmo results, and email feedback to inside team involved with new development of product
  • Save and organize email test feedback
  • Ensure all wear testers are covered by a current Non-Disclosure Agreement
  • Communicate with inside team to understand what is needed from each product test, and return results in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with wear testers and establish good working relationships to maintain a high feedback rate, and promote the Pearl Izumi brand.
  • Communicate with wear testers to ensure they are still active, and have time to test before sending test product.
  • Introduce each wear test with detailed expectations in email to participating testers.
  • Represent Pearl Izumi with professionalism, respect, and consistency.
  • Work with the Speed Shop to make test samples – follow processes for sample request.
  • Order samples from Vendors working with the Operations team – provide clear instruction and timeline of needs.
  • Order samples via online ordering system.
  • Send out test samples using either USPS or UPS.
